On December 19th, 1992, Roger and Pam Parks loaded up the very first Blue Wave.  It was a 189 Classic and headed to a small dealership in Rosenberg, Texas in preparation for its debut at the Houston Boat Show.  A few days later the Parks family headed back home to Oklahoma, with a check in hand and orders to build two more boats.

Blue Wave Boats was born.

Throughout the years Blue Wave continued to evolve its product offerings and improve designs.  From the original Classic and Super Tunnel design to the award-winning Pure Bay, Blue Wave continued to surpass customer expectations and stay ahead of the pack.

Blue Wave Boats quickly became the top choice for guides along the famed Laguna Madre coast of Texas.  Regarded for their soft and dry ride and extremely shallow draft, Blue Wave rocketed to the top-selling bay boat brand along the Gulf Coast in 2000, where the brand has reigned as a top seller since.

In 2018 Blue Wave Boats debuted the world’s largest bay boat, 2800 Pure Hybrid.  The boat earned a Best Boat title from Florida Sportsman that same year.  2800 Pure Hybrid provided a platform that was shallow drafting in keeping with the brand’s bay boat concept, yet the size offers the stability needed to fish offshore.  Blue Wave launched its first true offshore model in 2019, Makaira.  Makaira is an offshore hybrid that is blue water capable yet still shallow drafting.  The Blue Wave Hybrids have fulfilled a unique niche in the market. The Hybrids outsold the competition by an impressive 300%, based on boater registrations, in dealer territories.  Blue Wave continues to deliver boats the market wants and needs.

Today Blue Wave Boats remains committed to innovation and producing top-quality boats.
